This 46 year old female patient shows exellent results from a latissimus flap reconstruction done by Dr. Brian Tierney. This patient, with a history of breast cancer, initially saw Dr. Tierney in 2014 for delayed reconstruction after bilateral mastectomies. She was an excellent candidate for a latissimus flap reconstruction in which part of her latissimus flap from her upper back was tunneled to her mastectomy area to reconstruct the breast. She was then able to have expanders placed, go through the expansion process, and eventually have 350cc silicone gel implants placed. As the final steps of her reconstruction process, she had bilateral nipple reconstruction and nipple tattoos.
